Auf KVM Nodes, zwischen denen Instanzen migriert werden sollen, muss das  Verzeichnis /var/lib/libvirt geshard werden (bzw. der default Pool muss geändert werden), damit beide die gleichen Informationen über z.B. Snapshot haben.

Dies sollte nochmal in der Doku erwähnt werden.

Pools haben nichts mit Snapshots zu tun: Diese dienen nur der Speicherverwaltung, insbesondere beim Anlegen neuer Storage-Volumes. Dort ist /v/l/libvirt/images/ richtig.
Geshared werden sollte aber richtigerweise /v/l/libvirt/, u.a. wegen den Snapshots und Suspended VMs.

Das ist falsch, da in /v/l/libvirt/qemu/ u.a. die UNIX-Domain-Sockets der laufenden VMs abgelegt werden. Bei einer Live-Migration würden sich dann Qull- und Ziel-VM in die Quere kommen.
Geshared werden sollten getrennt folgende drei Bereiche:
 /var/lib/libvirt/images/ (bzw. andere/weitere Pools)
 /var/lib/libvirt/qemu/snapshot/
 /var/lib/libvirt/qemu/save/

UVMM is deprecated and no longer part of UCS-5 - WONT-FIX
