Ich würde vorschlagen bei der Auto-Partitionierung ext4 zu verwenden: ext4 bietet gegenüber ext3 deutlich schnelleres fsck, erlaubt grössere Partitionen und bietet viele Detailverbesserungen gegenüber ext3:

Außerdem sollte in der Auswahlliste des manuellen Partitionierungs-Dialogs ext4 zuerst in der Liste stehen.

startup-scripts/S25filesystems:

Hier wurde im Test auf Verfügbarkeit die Filesystem ext4 und btrfs entfernt (sind in den aktuellen Kernel für die DVD immer vorhanden). Statt dessen wurde ext4 und btrfs in installer/modules/filesystem aufgenommen, ext4 als erstes Element => default für manuelle Installation

installer/modules/65_partition.py:

ext4 wurde zum Default der Auto-Part. gemacht, außerdem wurde ext4 und btrfs in die Erkennung des Filesystem auf dem LV aufgenommen.

ext4 kann nun auch für /boot verwendet werden.
