Description Andreas Büsching univentionstaff 2011-12-12 09:52:50 CET

Comment 1 Stephan Luft univentionstaff 2015-09-17 10:13:46 CEST
ein Tester ist ebenfalls auf diese Fehlermeldung gestoßen und konnte den Grund (nicht vorhandener Benutzer) nicht direkt erkennen. Die Fehlermeldung sollte entsprechend verbessert/überarbeitet werden

This issue has been filed against UCS 3. UCS 3 is out of the normal maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in UCS 4.

If this issue is still valid, please change the version to a newer UCS version otherwise this issue will be automatically closed in the next weeks.
Comment 3 Stefan Gohmann univentionstaff 2017-08-08 07:08:12 CEST
This issue has been filed against UCS 3.0.

UCS 3.0 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug" or reopen this issue. In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting you.
Comment 4 Stephan Luft univentionstaff 2017-08-08 10:23:01 CEST
This is still valid for UCS 4.2-1 errata 122.

Steps to reproduce:
login to umcs - open module User - open quota - select a partition - add a user - enter an non existing username - set the quota

Error Message:
Could not fulfill the request.

Server error message:

Failed to modify quota settings for user Test on partition /dev/sda1.

This could be improved by providing e.g. a hint in the error message, by performing a selection of users when you start typing or by having a drop down including the users instead of just a text field.
