Ich habe erfolglos versucht mit dem ipad über einen Schule DC ins Internet zu kommen. Proxy Settings auf dem ipad waren soweit ok (proxy, port, Authentifizierung mit Benutzer und Passwort).

Der Squid beschwert sich in der cache.log, dass der Client (ipad) keine Authentifizierungs-Informationen sendet und lässt ihn dann nicht durch.

Das IPAD macht NTLM, schickt aber keine Domäne mit. Es kam in ntlm_helper squid_ldap_ntlm_auth in parseNtlmTypeThree() daraufhin zu einem Traceback beim decode("utf-16"). Wenn kein ordentlich Domäne (Username, Host) gefunden wird, wird nun "" angenommen.

Kein Eintrag im Changelog nötig, da squid_ldap_ntlm_auth erst mit 3.0-2 eingeführt wird.

Zur Anmerkung:
die Authentifizierung funktioniert mit dem iPad besser, wenn keepalive on ist. Das ist laut Sönke bei Windows anders.

Außerdem musste das iPad neugestartet werden, damit es Credentials/Authentifizierungsheader mitgesendet hat (mit Wireshark geprüft).
