Neben dem Remote-Druck über Printserver sollte UCC auch das Drucken über einen lokal angeschlossenen Drucker unterstützen. 

Dazu wird ein lokaler Cups-Server eingerichtet und eine Print-Queue über die UMC eingerichtet. Das sollte vorr. mit den bestehenden Mitteln schon funktionieren, müsste aber getestet werden.

Hier waren wir verblieben, dass wir eine Implementierung als Cool Solution anstreben, z.B. für Home Office Arbeitsplätze.

The article is quite good!
Please add an example of the local configuration files (AFAIR /etc/cups/printers.conf) for a RAW queue to the first USB printer which is accessable by a remote UCS print server. Afterwards the bug should be closed to get QAed.
