Univention Bugzilla – Bug 30337
[Product tests] Add test for conversion of a single master to master for multi server scenario
Last modified: 2013-06-07 21:40:29 CEST
The UCS@school 3.1 Quickstart states that a single master system can be extended to a master for a multi server scenario. A product test for this case is currently missing.
Note: Currently this is only feasable with a CLI operation, the wizzard does not support this (as yet). Also the two packages don't declare a conflict with each other yet, so ucs-school-singlemaster needs to be removed manually (apparently some UMC modules currently differentiate their behaviour based on the installation state of the packages?!): apt-get install ucs-school-master ucs-school-singlemaster- ucr unset ucsschool/singlemaster Note: This implies that the Samba services installed on the singlemaster will remain in the headquarters, as will the singlemaster OU.
