Description Moritz Muehlenhoff univentionstaff 2013-03-21 15:16:20 CET
UCS allows the policy-based configuration of NFS file shares to be mounted through a policy.

/usr/share/pyshared/univention/admin/handlers/policies/nfsmounts.py doesn't apply to the computers/ucc system role, though.
Comment 1 Ingo Steuwer univentionstaff 2013-05-07 14:53:50 CEST
For easy usage, the implementation should handle mount of /home even if the default desktop image with it's local home partition is used (the local partition must not be mounted/needs to be unmounted to use the mount-point for NFS).
Comment 2 Moritz Muehlenhoff univentionstaff 2014-03-27 08:30:03 CET
This is currently not planned for UCC 2.0
Comment 3 Moritz Muehlenhoff univentionstaff 2014-06-02 13:36:11 CEST
Mounting the home directory is already implemented (since an erratum for UCC 1.0) and out of the box in UCC 2.0.

/usr/share/pyshared/univention/admin/handlers/policies/nfsmounts.py is from UCS, so the general change to allow UCC clients first needs to be allowed there.

This issue has been filed against UCS 3. UCS 3 is out of the normal maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in UCS 4.

If this issue is still valid, please change the version to a newer UCS version otherwise this issue will be automatically closed in the next weeks.
Comment 5 Florian Best univentionstaff 2017-06-28 14:52:15 CEST
There is a Customer ID set so I set the flag "Enterprise Customer affected".
Comment 6 Stefan Gohmann univentionstaff 2017-08-08 07:10:38 CEST
This issue has been filed against UCS 3.2.

UCS 3.2 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug" or reopen this issue. In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting you.
