Univention Bugzilla – Bug 31982
"acl_xattr" not configured on share if other "vfs objects" are set in Custom share settings
Last modified: 2020-07-03 20:53:44 CEST
The automatic share option "vfs objects = acl_xattr" is not included in the list of vfs modules if additional "vfs objects" are sepcified in Shares:<sharename> -> [Advanced settings] -> Samba custom settings -> Custom share settings The samba-shares listener should not overwrite but accumulate these objects. +++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #29892 +++
I'm unsure if the current behaviour is a bug or a feature. Shouldn't we provide a way to allow users to disable acl_xattr? Maybe we could ad a checkbox "store NT ACLs in filesystem" which is "on" by default and results in the behaviour described in comment #0.
