Description Michel Smidt 2014-01-10 09:34:32 CET
In the UCS manual under 8.4.11. Configuring the time zone / time synchronization (http://docs.univention.de/manual-3.2.html#basicservices::ntp) the steps to describe the the time synchronization need an update because the ntp deamon on master domain controller runs by default and as in Bug 33216 described the ntpdate template is broken.
The sentence "Manual time synchronization can be started by the command ntpdate."
should be updated to something like:
Manual time synchronization can be started after stoping the ntp deamon with "service ntp stop" and run command "ntpdate XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX" with a reachable ntp-server. Afterwards restart the ntp-service with "service ntp start".
