Description Florian Best univentionstaff 2014-11-12 12:25:05 CET
The "Initialize password with hostname" checkbox in "Computer: Windows Workstation/Server → Advanced Settings → Account" does not disable the password fields. Having both set prevents saving with this error message: The LDAP object could not be saved: LDAP Error Constraint violation: sambaNTPassword: multiple values provided

Still a problem in 4.4

Is this checkbox even needed any more? (Are any customers using ucs 4.4 inside nt4 domains?)
Comment 4 Ingo Steuwer univentionstaff 2019-07-09 12:27:56 CEST
We should remove the functionality with the next minor/major release.
