Univention Bugzilla – Bug 36598
When installing from CDROM, system setup displays wrong helptext about root password
Last modified: 2014-11-26 06:55:47 CET
Created attachment 6355 [details] System setup with wrong help text When installing from CDROM, the debian installer asks for a root password. When selecting "Create a new UCS domain" in our system setup, the next page only has the fields "Name der Organisation" and "E-Mail Adresse...", but the help text explains that i am required to enter a root password. This help text is confusing at that point.
fixed, package currently builds, interim-version no changelog.
It works: - if password is listed in system/setup/boot/fields/blacklist, the help text about the password isn't shown - if password is not listed in system/setup/boot/fields/blacklist, the help text about the password is shown
UCS 4.0-0 has been released: http://docs.univention.de/release-notes-4.0-0-en.html http://docs.univention.de/release-notes-4.0-0-de.html If this error occurs again, please use "Clone This Bug".
