Description Florian Best univentionstaff 2015-12-18 13:35:45 CET
I always need to press F5 so that the content on docs.univention.de gets updated.

As the HTTP response doesn't contain a Cache-Control header caches are allowed to apply a heuristic on how long the content may be cached - The E-Tag and Last-Modified time is therefore ignored as browsers usually don't do conditional requests for long-cacheable resources.

We should allow a maximum cache time of 1 hour?!:
Cache-Control: max-age=3600

This is noticed recurrently if e.g. new release notes are published and the overview pages still seem to be outdated (for QA or customers). Also manual updates/fixes may not be detected by customers because of caching.
