See attached screenshot. Before the Installer is started, some error messages are shown.

Your system was already partitioned and contains data.
The installer is trying to find the installation media and needs to mount each partition to check the content.
That fails as you aborted the previous installation.

The message is harmless.
Hiding it would be a pain to diagnose installation errors.

No, it also happens if I create a new virtual machine with a new hard disk.

I cannot reproduce this at the moment. I tested with the UCS 4.2 MS1 DVD (there currently is no newer version available) in virtualbox and kvm
