Description Jens Thorp-Hansen univentionstaff 2017-01-27 12:50:53 CET
Did a lxde installation on my UCC3 via "# apt-get install univention-ucc-lxde" but the session was afterwards not selectable at login. A test with the mate desktop instead worked fine.

This has happend in a school environment too (see ticketnr.)

Both lxde and lxde-core packages depend on lxde-common | x-session-manager. That dependcy apparently is fulfilled on UCC desktops in another way, so that lxde-common is not installed.

But that package ships the xsession script. Fix: add dependency lxde-common to univention-ucc-lxde

Workaround: Install lxde-common manually or via package install policy

Some elements still seem to be missing on a "UCC3 rev2" (see ticket) but I could not reproduce the screenshot from the ticket in my UCC3 desktop client.
