Univention Bugzilla – Bug 43535
Be more explicit about UCS role in AD domain join in wizard and documentation
Last modified: 2020-07-03 20:55:21 CEST
A user reported at Ticket#2017021021000997 that he was confused about what UCS will be doing if it joins an existing Active Directory domain. He asks about to be more explicit that UCS will leave the AD alone and simply joins in the role of an AD member. The user did not provide a link to the documentation. I assume he refers to the system setup wizard where the use case is asked. He concluded the behaviour after reading through the documentation In the perimeter of this bug it should be checked, what the wizard is telling users about the UCS role on AD domain join and what the documentation says about it. The texts should be more explicit on the UCS behaviour and role.
