Dovecot 2.2.13 is from 2014.

We should release with UCS 4.2 an non-ancient mail stack.

With Dovecot that's not problematic, because it didn't have a major version update. Dovecot 2.2 is very well tested and stable, its configuration is stable and backwards compatible. Configuration file updates from 2.2.13 to 2.2.27 should be minimal.

UCS 4.1 uses 2.2.13-11 from wheezy-backports.
UCS 4.2 uses 2.2.13-12 from jessie.
Currently 2.2.27-2 is in both stretch and jessie-backports.

Dovecot 2.2.28 RC2 has been released on 22.02., the final 2.2.28 will be released every day now.

The OX App Suite has a new feature "Attachment-View" which only works with Dovecot >= 2.2.25.

This issue has been filed against UCS 4.2.

UCS 4.2 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug" or reopen it and update the UCS version. In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting you.
