Currently the shell function ucs_registerLDAPSchema() is suggested for installing LDAP schemata in our developer documentation. Since ucs_registerLDAPSchema() does only execute

cp "$schemaFile" /var/lib/univention-ldap/local-schema/
ucr commit /etc/ldap/slapd.conf

the schema is not registered in LDAP.

ucs_registerLDAPschema() should be removed from DevDoc and replaced by ucs_registerLDAPExtension() or references to ucs_registerLDAPExtension().

This bug hasn't seen any update for several years. I close it.

If you still see a need for it, you can reopen the bug. Please add an argumentation about why it's important to take care of it.
