If I start system setup via remote browser (CTRL-Q during the installation), the system configures the online repository. Since we install with recommends, the installation installs more packages like texlive-latex-extra-doc which is 327 MB.

I think it would be better to use only the local packages which are copied:
 file:/var/cache/univention-system-setup/packages/

fyi: We never fixed it in 4.1 and instead set repository/online=no in our appliance creation scripts.

This issue has been filed against UCS 4.2.

UCS 4.2 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug" or reopen it and update the UCS version. In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting you.
