Description Jottschi 2017-04-11 20:35:02 CEST
System: ESXi 5.5 Hypervisor (WhiteBox) 4 Core AMD A8-6600K
The kernel removes all CPU cores at boot ?!?
ESX says something like: the operating system removed all Processors
No further testing possible :-(

I tested with an ESXi 5.5.0-20160204... via the vSphere client, doing a DVD installation. Everything worked fine for me. My VM had 1 CPU core and 1 GiB ram. The host has a AMD Athlon II X2 250 processor.

Unfortunately i don't have much experience with VMware hypervisors. Do other Linux Distributions with a similar kernel (UCS 4.2 uses Kernel 4.9) work?
