As firewall settings done in UCR only apply after restarting the "univention-firewall" service one wants to be able to do that in UMC. Currently the service is missing in the "System Services" UMC module, so configuring the firewall needs either shell access or a reboot of the server.

@Christian: Could you check if this still occurs in UCS 4.4. If yes, please change the Version field of this bug to UCS 4.4.

With the attached patch file univention-firewall service is listed in the System services module in UMC and can be managed as the other services that have already been listed there before. So It is now possible in UMC to start/stop/restart the firewall service and get information about the current status.
