Please check /var/log/univention/updater.log * after that the next update attempt fails with Custom preupdate script /var/lib/local-preup.sh not found Checking for space on /var/cache/apt/archives: OK Checking for space on /boot: OK Checking for space on /: OK Checking for package status: iF bind9 1:9.9.5.dfsg-9+deb8u13A~4.2.1.201708081700 i386 Internet Domain Name Server failed ERROR: The package state on this system is inconsistent. Please run 'dpkg --configure -a' manually Error: Update aborted by pre-update script of release 4.2-2 * and this "dpkg --configure -a" fails until i reboot the system * so better reboot after 4.2-0 to let systems do its job * and even better, always force a reboot after minor/major releases
