Univention Bugzilla – Bug 48311
Precisify missing mail domain pop-up
Last modified: 2021-05-14 16:34:02 CEST
When one tries to create or modify user and add a primary mail address with a mail domain that doesn't exist, a pop-up with the following text opens: Notification The LDAP object could not be saved: Der Domänenteil der primären Mailadresse ist nicht in der Liste der eingerichteten Maildomänen enthalten: test@google.com Btw. note the partly English partly German error message (bug 48310) I think we should make this error message more precise by specifying what primaryMailAddress is for. I just encountered a domain with 100+ external mail domains, because they have a lot of users with external mail addresses and didn't know that the primaryMailAddress is for addresses managed in the domain. Something along the lines of: [...] This field is meant for mail addresses inside this domain. For external addresses use the "Contact" tab on the left side.
