Description Nico Gulden univentionstaff 2019-10-10 11:20:01 CEST
Seen during the installation of GitLab on a UCS system with not enough available physical memory for the app. The warning about the insufficient memory was written on the same screen as the app settings. I did not recognize it, because my focus was on the app settings.

Warnings about insufficient installation requirements should be displayed as summary on a separate screen and explicitly acknowledged by the administrator.

Or the warning could be made more visible, like for example it is known from applications using the Bootstrap design framework. E.g. light yellow background for the warning text.
