Description Moritz Muehlenhoff univentionstaff 2007-12-13 16:59:35 CET

I like the idea of displaying (cmdline or UMC window) a hint to the user, that for the changes to take effect a list of services need to be restarted.

IMHO automatic restarts should never happen. If it is really needed, a UCR module can be created.

This issue has been filed against UCS 4.2.

UCS 4.2 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug" or reopen it and update the UCS version. In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting you.

At least one participant of Technical Training 2020-06-25/26 asked for the services to be flagged as needing a restart, it its configuration has changed - either manually or through UCR.
