Screenshot with traceback starting Ubuntu Software Center

Installing the package software-center on a thin client causes some error
messages during installation, but the installation runs through. Trying to
start the software center produces the tracebacks seen in the screenshot
attached.

I assume the problem is only related to Ubuntu Software Center and may take
care that it only is used on Ubuntu.

Installing packages through apt-get works as expected.

This is a consequence of Bug 32627, the fix depends on the outcome of that bug.
