Description Arvid Requate univentionstaff 2013-08-12 15:53:29 CEST
Our current samba 4.1.0~rc2 package has been built without the browselist filter patch

It need to be adjusted in case it is still required. Otherwise it may be deleted.

When i was reviewing the UCR variable descriptions for univention-samba I had removed the binding in smb.conf for tha Samba option the patch adds:

r42821 | jmm | 2013-07-26 15:02:36 +0200 (Fr, 26. Jul 2013) | 4 Zeilen

  * Update/review UCR variable descriptions (Bug #30948)
  * samba/netbios/filter was removed, the underlying Samba patch was dropped
    for UCS 3.0

According to Bugzilla the patch was already dropped in 3.0 (that's why I removed the UCR binding above):

Maybe it was accidentally merged back later?
Comment 3 Stefan Gohmann univentionstaff 2013-09-11 13:36:42 CEST
The patch is no longer needed.
