The "Connection" group ("Bad lockout attempts" (shouldn't that be "Bad login attempts"-> bug32681) , "Reset count minutes" etc.) is not documented.

We should mention that these settings only apply to samba logins and that every logon server holds it's own counters (maybe this is not the case with Samba 4, needs testing).

Bad password counter may be checked via "pdbedit -v <Username>" on (every) DC.

This bug hasn't seen any update for several years. I close it.

If you still see a need for it, you can reopen the bug. Please add an argumentation about why it's important to take care of it.
