Description Felix Botner univentionstaff 2013-10-29 12:06:22 CET
non-master (and non-backup?) systems need a way to modify ldap entries if their ip adress has changed

 * ip address at the computer object
 * adding new ptr record/delete old one
 * adding new reverse zone if subnet has changed
 * arecord in the forward zone
 * ldap policies
 * or maybe updated all occurrences of the old ip with the new ip in the ldap

I assume that this worked correctly with UCS 2.4. Since then it has not been reported as problem, thus I imagine that it is not a frequent problem.

This issue has been filed against UCS 3. UCS 3 is out of the normal maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in UCS 4.

If this issue is still valid, please change the version to a newer UCS version otherwise this issue will be automatically closed in the next weeks.

This issue has been filed against UCS 3.2.

UCS 3.2 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug" or reopen this issue. In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting you.
