Description Moritz Muehlenhoff univentionstaff 2014-04-24 13:21:58 CEST
When adding a computer in the computer management of the UMC, the static preselection is "Windows" (which can be statically overridden using UCR)

It would be more used-friendly if the dialogue would remember the type of the last computer created. If someone creates multiple computers in a row, chances are very high that the user will create multiple computers of the same type (e.g. several UCC clients or several MacOS clients).

So e.g.
- Create a first client (the preset in the dialogue is Windows) and select "UCC"
- Create a second client (the preset should now be UCC)

The last computer type used doesn't need to be stored persistently, it's sufficient for each session.

When creating multiple computers at once, the last computer type is currently stored and one can directly create a new entry of the same type with the wizard.

This issue has been filed against UCS 3. UCS 3 is out of the normal maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in UCS 4.

If this issue is still valid, please change the version to a newer UCS version otherwise this issue will be automatically closed in the next weeks.

This issue has been filed against UCS 3.2.

UCS 3.2 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug" or reopen this issue. In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting you.
