Description Moritz Muehlenhoff univentionstaff 2014-05-26 12:57:43 CEST
The UCC app provides several join scripts which register UMC modules etc.

When installing on a DC slave there's no notification that join scripts need unless the user logs out. I think the App Center should record the list of installed join scrips before and after an app installation and in case there's a difference and it's running on a non-master it should offer to run the join scripts.

One problem is that UCC 3.0 could have a different join script version than UCC 2.0. If upgrading the app, this should be noticed, too.

A simple check-join-status would find scripts that do not belong to the app.

After app installation/upgrade there is a strong hint to logout. After re-login, there is an auto-check whether all join scripts are successfully run. This has to be enough.
