Univention Bugzilla – Bug 35490
Add support in d-i for Appliance-Mode
Last modified: 2014-11-26 06:54:01 CET
During first run of Univention-System-Setup press Ctrl-Q to quit USS. On next reboot USS should be started again. Any system modification done should be reverted. This should be documented in the App-setup-guide.
Is this the same issue that is mentioned at Bug 28188 ? UCR system/setup/boot/start gets reset to early.
(In reply to Erik Damrose from comment #1) > Is this the same issue that is mentioned at Bug 28188 ? UCR > system/setup/boot/start gets reset to early. Handling of s/s/boot/start is currently missing for the new UCS-4 installer, which is based on d-i. This is what this bug is for. Also for adding documentation somewhere. Bug #28188 would be solved as a consequence of correctly implementing this bug.
As discussed with Stefan, during normal installation, d-i automatically sets system/setup/boot/start=true and starts USS. Then USS/Firefox may be stopped by pressing CTRL-q. During next boot from harddisk, USS starts up. This is also the case if CTRL-q is pressed, when booting from hard disk. r53662 r53661 r53645 r53643 r53642 univention-system-setup (8.0.41-1) unstable; urgency=low
OK: r53662 r53643 r53645 r53661 r53662 OK: "GRUB → Normal installer → Ctrl-Q → Reboot → USS" works OK: No change log
