Univention Bugzilla – Bug 35641
USS-4.0 prefers location DNS server over DHCP provided DNS server
Last modified: 2014-11-26 06:56:01 CET
Installing a new UCS-4.0 using the new Debian based installer. - For location I selected "Bremen". - For network I selected DHCP. In the final page "164.133.154.136" is listed as the External name server, while the DHCP provided server 10.200.17.2 should be used instead. /etc/resolve.conf lists the correct DHCP provided server.
r52960 | Bug #35641 USS: Fix master DNS server via DHCP. The DNS server from the city-db is ignored when one is provided by DHCP. Also the values currently provided by DHCP are shown (for verification). r52961 | Bug #35641 USS: Fix lint errors Fixed several other issues. Package: univention-system-setup Version: 8.0.21-5.640.201408221307 Branch: ucs_4.0-0
