This most likely has nothing to do with partitioning, but is a ticking time bomb in tasksel, as it tries to install conflicting packages: pkgssel/tasksel tried to install conflicting packages: # tasksel --new-install --task-packages standard | grep univention ... univention-basesystem univention-role-server-common univention-role-common univention-server-slave univention-server-master univention-server-member univention-server-backup <https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-archive.html#s-priorities> > standard > This is what will be installed by default if the user doesn't select anything else > > extra > This contains all packages that conflict with others with required, important, standard or optional priorities, ... This is caused by many packages being copied to the DVD for upgrade scenarios, which now get installed and breaks each other.
The filesystems / was full since Firefox uses 77 MiB on /opt, which is not separate! from /. / only has 314 MiB where /lib already uses 215 MiB. r13889 | Bug #36242 d-i/partman: Minimum part size Increase minimum size for several partitions: / 4 GiB /boot 512 MiB /usr 4 GiB Package: partman-auto Version: 106.5.201410221256 Branch: ucs_4.0-0 r13883 | Bug #36242 tasksel: Don't install Priority: standard packages Notice that this removes packages which a UNIX admin might expect on each UCS system.
