A max-width CSS property should help here.

In addition to this, I experienced problems on a smartphone (portrait mode) where the tooltips where displayed outside the UMC area on the right (scrollbars were shown then). It might be better to display the tooltips below/above a widget/label or maybe directly around the mouse position.

I fixed the max-width of tooltips and set the default position to top left/bottom left of the anchor node. I experienced problems on smart phones with the previous behaviour.

FIXED tooltips

Looks good:
OK - Firefox
OK - Chromium
OK - IE9/10/11

Also check it for Nexus 4/5 and Samsung Galaxy III inside Chromium (developer tools)

It's hard to get the tooltips, but it works okay for such a little screen.
Position of the tooltips worked as described.

Interim bug no changelog required.
