Cups should support kerberos authentication
Last modified: 2019-06-11 18:04:06 CEST
Created attachment 6954 [details] Patch Cups should be able to offer kerberos authentication. That could be useful for granting access to restricted printers from UCC and other Linux clients. What the attached patch does: Makes the Cups option AuthType configurable over the UCR variable cups/auth-type. For kerberos support it must be set to Negotiate, the default value is Basic. What current works with cups/auth-type=Negotiate: * Printing over Samba from Windows clients * Access over the cups webinterface to restricted printers on UCC What current not works with cups/auth-type=Negotiate: * Printing from UCC clients ;) * Access over the cups webinterface to restricted printers on Windows
