Description Michel Smidt 2016-11-22 16:13:19 CET
Reported by customer in UCS@school workshop.

In the UMC Modul "Klassenarbeit starten" in the view "Freigabezugriff konfigurieren / Configure share access" the text "Zugriff auf Heimatverzeichnis beschränken" is misleading.
On the left is a textbox which explains it a bit more:
"Freigabezugriff steuern

But this explains it not exactly. Better would be something like "Zugriff auf Heimatverzeichnis der neu angelegten Klassenarbeitsbenutzer beschränken"

While your proposed replacement is technically correct it sounds a bit bulky in my opinion. Talking about alternative home directories that are different from the normal home directories of the users could be confusing for teachers (even if they read the manual).

I would propose labeling it something like "Exam files only" - which is practically what the restriction to the exam users home directory does and it relates to the previous wizard page which is about uploading exam files.

Also in the computer room module there is already the possibility to distinct between a normal computer room and a computer room in exam mode. To stay consistent we could and should alter the label of the home-restriction there as well if the room is in exam mode regardless of which version we choose in the end.

Totally fine for me.

Patch proposal for exam only label

I added a patch for my proposed solution. Before applying it I would like someone with more experience in dojo to check if there is a better way to update the static Values label.

If I understand this correctly the update function in SettingsDialog.js is always called before showing the dialog.
Could you change the staticValue definition to an empty array?

What I tested:
Settings in exam module -> OK
Settings in computerroom module, no exam -> OK
Settings in computerroom module, during exam -> OK
Settings in computerroom module, after exam -> OK

Looks good to me :)

-> Verified
