Description Ingo Steuwer univentionstaff 2016-12-07 21:44:20 CET
On UCC fat client images the local cups service stops after a few minutes, both after booting the client or starting the service manually.

A reported workaround is to remove /etc/cups/client.conf - but the file is maintained by UCR and will re-appear at some point in time.

Furthermore in my tests it was impossible to define a different print server than "localhost" in UCR, with other print servers cups doesn't start at all and "lpstat -a" as an user doesn't show the printers available on the print server.

In the end I figured out no way for an end user to print.

Mark all bugs with a user pain > 0.3 as errata bugs.
