Univention Bugzilla – Bug 46810
Failed to find 'auth_event' registered (NT_STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND)
Last modified: 2021-05-14 16:34:27 CEST
For each authentication event Samba 4.7 writes the following error message to log.samba: get_auth_event_server: Failed to find 'auth_event' registered on the message bus to send JSON authentication events to: NT_STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND We should find the cause of this to at least silence this irritating message.
Actually it only appears at log level 3 or higher: [2018/02/28 19:13:42.077146, 3, pid=14925, effective(0, 0), real(0, 0)] ../auth/auth_log.c:139(get_auth_event_server) get_auth_event_server: Failed to find 'auth_event' registered on the message bus to send JSON authentication events to: NT_STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND
