Description Nico Gulden univentionstaff 2018-05-15 10:50:30 CEST
A user reported that the software update module does not know when it does not have a connection. The environment uses a proxy.

The user could not find information about the syntax of the proxy setting. Does it require the protocol (http or https) and can username:password be entered?

On the command-line the variable http_proxy is set as in Debian and Ubuntu systems. apt-get renders the error "SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED".
