Description Nico Gulden univentionstaff 2018-06-11 15:27:22 CEST
A customer reported via a partner that the join only works, if the Ubuntu client has a static ip address configured in /etc/network/interfaces. This static address only works though, if netplan has been deactivated before.

Reported with Ubuntu 18.04.

Some specifics about the error behavior would be interesting. Does the Tool abort with a traceback? Which traceback? Does the tool complete but leave the system in an undesired state? How does that look?

I change the subject of this bug to something more specifc.
