Description Valentin Heidelberger univentionstaff 2018-10-11 15:15:33 CEST
This would still be a nice feature (maybe configurable via UCR?).
Insufficient disk space due to lots of old repos can cause problems during updates for example, which requires the user to clean up manually.

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #27902 +++

Angeregt an Ticket #2012070921006654:

Wird über die Variable repository/mirror/version/start nachträglich eine spätere Version definiert, könnten die alten gespiegelten Pfade im Dateisystem (beim nächsten mirror-Aufruf?) automatisch entfernt werden.

This issue has been filed against UCS 4.3.

UCS 4.3 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug" or reopen it and update the UCS version. In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting you.
Comment 2 Philipp Hahn univentionstaff 2021-06-11 09:42:14 CEST
Since UCS-5 release repositories are self contained and no longer depends on all previous repositories of the same Major release. This allows mirroring starting at any version.
