When one tries to create or modify user and add a primary mail address with a mail domain that doesn't exist, a pop-up with the following text opens:

 Notification
The LDAP object could not be saved: Der Domänenteil der primären Mailadresse ist nicht in der Liste der eingerichteten Maildomänen enthalten: test@google.com

Btw. note the partly English partly German error message (bug 48310)

I think we should make this error message more precise by specifying what primaryMailAddress is for. I just encountered a domain with 100+ external mail domains, because they have a lot of users with external mail addresses and didn't know that the primaryMailAddress is for addresses managed in the domain. Something along the lines of:

[...] This field is meant for mail addresses inside this domain. For external addresses use the "Contact" tab on the left side.

This issue has been filed against UCS 4.3.

UCS 4.3 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug" or reopen it and update the UCS version. In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting you.
