FYI: we could trigger a similar issue on a DC Master by deactivating the network interface. In that case the system was unable to resolve its own hostname and the joinscript failed. We should modify this check in 98univention-samba4-dns.inst to make the "host" command ask localhost instead of the ip specified in resolv.conf.

This issue here seems to be a bit different though, because it's a DC backup (which probably has a network connection to the master at this point).

This issue has been filed against UCS 4.3.

UCS 4.3 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug" or reopen it and update the UCS version. In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting you.
