If I open the App-Center and reduce the number of App shown on the overview page, so that they fit on a single page, the scroll-bar at the right side get removed. This changed the "rendering screen width" and both columns jump some pixels to the right.
If more Apps are shown than fit on the screen, the scrollbar re-appears and both columns jump back to the left.
