Description Dirk Ahrnke univentionstaff 2019-06-21 15:52:43 CEST
The manual still says in https://docs.software-univention.de/manual-4.4.html#installation:vmware that "Other Linux" should be used instead of "Debian".
Given that this requirement dates back to 2013 (see bug 31085) it may well be that this statement is deprecated and should be removed.

as a reference, the paedML-Linux requirements are:
- ESXi 6.5 or later
- vmxNet3 (instead of e1000)
- profile "Debian 9 (64Bit)"
