AWS runs its own NTP server network: <https://aws.amazon.com/de/about-aws/whats-new/2017/11/introducing-the-amazon-time-sync-service/>

Our AWS images should use 169.254.169.123 by default.

PS: Our CloudFormation for the TTs does not work with NTP: Neither the DC Master is able to contact ANY external NTP service (neither pool.ntp.org nor AWS), nor id the DC Slave able to reach the Master. Looks like all NTP traffic is blocked.
