In the UCS@school pre-join hook an univention-app update is performed to always have the latest app version available for installation.

If that call fails, e.g. due to a (short) networking issue, the installation will fail. Debugging is time consuming, the issue may not be obvious.

The pre-join hook could retry multiple times if univention-app update fails.
