Description Marc Schwarz univentionstaff 2021-03-15 12:45:15 CET
after installing the lastest errata updates, the Kelvin REST API App is missing.
this occured in test envs first, but today it occured in a productive environment.

The docker was still present:

824ec101063c        docker.software-univention.de/ucsschool-kelvin-rest-api:1.3.1   "/sbin/init"        2 weeks ago         Up 6 hours          7890/tcp, 0.0.0.0:40002->8911/tcp   peaceful_lichterman

But a restart for example was not possible:

univention-app restart ucsschool-kelvin-rest-api
ucsschool-kelvin-rest-api is not supported

A re-install of the app solved the issue, but for sure it is not ideal, if an update suddenly removes an app.

I suspect this is another symptom of bug 51986
(The latest errata updates had an update for u-appcenter, which triggers a cache rebuild)

Happened to another customer in our test environment

I have reasons to believe that this issue got solved in the meantime and I also have not experienced it anymore (being one of the reporters myself), so I will close this.
If it happens again feel free to reopen or clone this bug.
