In the template for vhosts, ssl/certificate, key and CA are used from the registry.
It would be important to add fullchain to the options and fill SSLCertificateChainFile from the registry.

Browsers usually are fine without the fullchain, but for example the bitwarden android app does not work without a correct SSLCertificateChainFile. Without the fullchain, it won't connect to the self-hosted service.
