Description Joerg Baach univentionstaff 2021-10-19 11:56:48 CEST
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #53937 +++

When creating a computer an invalid netmask (e.g. 255.255.257.0) is accepted without a message to the user, while a warning is given in the logfile.

There should be a message to the user as well, or if it silently corrected anyhow, maybe the field can be left out, or should be marked as informational only.
